Spicy Brinjal Curry

You might have heard a lot about BT Brinjal from the various news sources. Nowadays nothing much is heard about it, it seems that all the commotions have died down and people started forgetting the issue. Bt brinjals are really very much dangerous to our health, it can destroy our internal organs. How could we make sure such crops are not reaching us.. Recently read some where the issue is only about brinjal, but other crops like wheat and pulses are approaching us silently.. God knows ....

Ingredients needed

green chillies 2
tomato 1 ripe

Grind together,
small onions / shallots 6
garlic cloves 6 small size
ginger 1/2 " piece
Kashmiri chilli powder 2 tsp

fennel seeds 1/4 tsp

For Garnishing,
mustard seeds 1 tsp
cumin seeds 1 pinch
fenugreek 1 pinch
asafoetida / kayam 1 pinch
curry leaves

Soak in salty water.
Squeeze it after 1/2 hour and mix with the ground paste.
Add chopped green chillies, tomato and tamarind water etc and cook.
Cook covered on a low flame.
When done, heat oil, roast the items below 'for garnishing'.
Add to the curry.
