  2. Thanks so much Seena. I was infact looking specifically for this recipe as my husband loves kerala style beef fry and he used to get packets of Daily Delight from an indian grocery in our vicinity. Your pics are so tempting that I cannot wait for weekend to come. Instead I am planning to get Beef and Mutton to make Beef fry and Dry Mutton Curry this evening itself. Once again thank u so much. Its really a skill to put in writing the good recipes like this though knowing how to prepare.

  4. Hi Seena welcome back :) I love this beef recipe I bet cooking it in the pressure cooker makes it lovely and soft. I tend not to cook beef because it goes tough a lot on me. I must use my pressure cooker a lot more maybe. I bet your mums recipe tasted delicious. :)

  5. Hey thanks for the recipes! i'm in a "cooking" mood today. so i thought i will try the chkn kuruma today.and then i wondered..what is the difference between kuruma, masala and curry? Is the difference in the amount of water added? They all taste the same to me at the place i have my food regularly (read occasional "bachelor life" in middle east) :)

  7. Thanks Asha, Glad to see you!
In our place all Hindus,Muslims and Christians eat Beef, but this is not cow or ox. I don't know what is the exact name but it is male buffalo.I hope you could understand.

    Anon,
    Welcome and thanks!
I usually try this method for making beef fry and it is a success..Hope your family will love it..

    Prave,
    ithu naadan thanne...

    Jeena,
Next time when you make beef, try using pressure cooker. That is the simple instrument helps me a lot while cooking..!

    esvee,
Kuruma, curry and masala are different. If you check the recipe closely you can understand the differences. Kurma appears as whitish with less masala powders, masala will be thick and curry is with much gravy..As you said, we can make curry to masala by adding less water. Enjoy cooking on Fridays!

    Thanks a lot Sukanya...
